Embodying Renewal

A workshop about moving into new possibilities with ease.

As spring awakens the earth, it’s our time to awaken to new possibilities within. In this workshop, we blend somatic movement, breathwork and the practices of Nonviolent Communication to explore a grounding, body-centered approach to restoring safety, regulating the nervous system, and strengthening boundaries.

Nonviolent Communication (NVC) offers a beautiful framework that helps us learn how to identify our feelings and needs. And as we learn how to do that, we create resonance in our bodies and become more firmly rooted in our boundaries in relation to ourselves and others. Stepping into the world through this lens opens us up to new possibilities for how we express our truth and receive what we need.

And with an integrated somatic movement practice accompanying this, we cultivate deep-rooted safety in our bodies. We befriend our nervous systems and allow our bodies to gently self-regulate, creating the foundation to grow, expand, and move forward with trust.

What to expect:

This workshop includes some teaching, some practicing and some guided movement. If you experience challenges getting to the floor we offer a chair-based somatic practice. Also note that space is limited, this will be a small, intimate gathering of 6-8 people.
